Next month the first European incubator for startups related to virtual, augmented and mixed reality will be launched in Spain. His name is Oarsis and he is part of Demiun Startups.
The objective of Oarsis is to give a boost to these new technologies, while providing entrepreneurs with an efficient methodology that allows them to shape their projects. The pilot project will start in Valencia, but the idea is to move to Madrid in 2017. The launch will take place on November 18 at the Startup Week Valencia event, by the hand of Techstarts, and it will be a day dedicated entirely to augmented virtual reality, with talks by Luis Castillo de NeuroDigital, Xavier Palomer from PSIOUS, and an Extreme Degree of VirtualWare, among others. There will also be a couple of hours dedicated to making demos of the technology (simulators, room-scale experiences, haptic gloves, etc.). Those interested can sign up at this link.
