The new measure, which arises to strengthen its Security Center and Code of Conduct, allows to offer a greater context to each case.
In addition to the addition of Oculus Go casting to mobile phones, the Oculus Mobile platform, composed of Gear VR and Go, has also received an update that introduces the possibility of reporting abusive content or behavior from any application or virtual reality game. This new addition allows us to capture a video within the virtual world to offer some context when sending our report to the Oculus team, thus getting them to see more clearly what has happened.
The measure comes as part of the plan they are developing to ensure that the environment is safe and inclusive for all, something for which they have a Security Center and a Code of Conduct.
To carry out a report, we have to give the Oculus button on the controller, access the toolbar, select the People tab, choose “Video report” and start the recording that will have a maximum duration of 2 and a half minutes. We can refer to all the steps to follow in the following guide.
