The company is starting to include fashion shows, such as the one that took place this morning, in the Facebook 360 app.
Oculus has announced that, as part of its collaboration with Balmain, lovers of the fashion firm can access the spring/summer 2019 show with a privileged seat thanks to virtual reality. The video, which conveys the show and the excitement of the front-row, is available through the Facebook 360 application that we can download from the Oculus Store (Go and Gear VR).
Balmain wants to be at the forefront of evolution in the fashion industry. Earlier this year they created the immersive experience My City of Lights, which reflects the creative journey of brand designer Oliver Rousteing. This experience was accompanied by a custom Rift viewer, which allowed them to create a new and innovative way to interact with their audience.
The parade, which took place today at 11: 30 with the possibility of following it live in VR, can be found on Facebook 360 searching for the word Balmain.
