It will embark us on a three-chapter journey, in which we will discover the mysterious sounds of the cosmos in this immersive narrative experience through Rift.
One of the surprises of the Sundance festival at the beginning of the year, was the debut and instant success of Spheres, that broke the funding record for a VR product by sealing a seven-figure deal with production company CityLights, proving that immersive narrative experiences were here to stay.
But it is not just any product, in charge of the Director and screenwriter Eliza McNitt, this miniseries features a first-class cast, in the narration of each of the three episodes are the actresses Millie Bobby Brown, known for Stranger Things, the Oscar-nominated Zero Dark Thirty Jessica Chastain and the singer Patty Smith. In addition to having a soundtrack by the duo Survive, composed by Mr. Jason Xiao and Michael Stein, also responsible for the main theme of Stranger Things.
In this VR blockbuster we will interact to discover, on a journey through the universe, the sounds emitted by different celestial bodies and singularities. Silenced by the void of space, until now, the first chapter it will focus on illustrating the melody that our planet produces Landtogether with the other members of the solar system, to pass, in the second episode, to explore a black hole and find out more about the recent discovery of gravitational waves. And as a last stop, we will contemplate the birth of sound along with the rest of the cosmos, in a third chapter dedicated to Big Bang.
Spheres, available in English only, is now on full sale in the Oculus store, by 9,99€, where you will enjoy a temporary exclusivity. It is not available in Spanish.
