Steve Le Roy Harris has published an application, for the moment only for iOS, that allows you to enjoy any content from OSVR and SteamVR on your iPhone using a Cardboard, all via streaming from a PC.
OSVR Carboard is a free application based on the open source game streaming project Moonlight, and it works as a remote screen for OSVR and with tracking the orientation of our head. We will be able to use it to play virtual reality PC games, both OSVR and all those compatible with SteamVR, taking into account that we will not have motion controllers or absolute positioning.
For its operation you can follow the tutorial that its author has published with a series of steps that require the Nvidia game streaming service for its operation. The application is only for iPhone and there is no news on whether an Android version will be released, and SteamVR support is in experimental mode. For Android users there are other alternatives such as VRidge by RiftCat.
