With just 2 days left until the Kickstarter campaign ends, the Perception Neuron motion capture system has become the crowdfunding project of Chinese origin that has managed to raise the most money, practically doubling the initial goal and already approaching half a million dollars. As a final boost to the campaign, they have released a video showing interesting game prototypes.
There is no doubt that this Kickstarter campaign has surprised own and strangers, its collection is dangerously close to that of Sixense STEM, a product based on a standard that has been around for some time and is more consolidated, but it has far surpassed other solutions such as PrioVR or Control VR. The low cost of Perception Neuron and the huge number of sensors it incorporates have made a multitude of developers and enthusiasts have turned to this interesting device. And it is that the kit of 30 sensors, which costs about $ 550, can be obtained for $375 if we have supported the Oculus Rift Kickstarter campaign.
In a couple of days the campaign will have concluded and we will know the exact collection figure, and it will be in February of next year when the shipments of this surprising proposal begin.
