Pimax has announced that the 5k bakers will be able to move to the 8k by paying the$100 difference.
Pimax has ready, for the first batch, their 5K+ and 8K units. They will send the models to the bakers, depending on the decisions they make. The support team contacted the first bakers (from 1-100) to verify the shipment details. Each 8K / X baker will have the ability to switch to 5K+. In addition, each 5K baker will receive the new 5K+ model instead of its 5K and will also have the possibility to switch to the 8K.
- For 8K / X bakers who decide to keep their 8K, they recommend GTX1080Ti graphics cards or higher.
- 8K / X bakers who decide to switch to 5K+ will be provided with a $ 100 coupon to purchase accessories (modules, etc.) in their online store.
- 5K bakers who decide to switch to 8K should contact support@pimaxvr.com to pay the price difference of $ 100.
