Plugged is an adventure that its creators define as “look and click”, that is, a virtual reality variant of the “point and click” adventures that emerged at the end of the 80s.
Plugged’s story unfolds based on our decisions. During the course of the game, we will be presented with different choices that will determine the direction of our progress and result in totally different stories. For example, the first decision we must make is whether we go to an interview for a job we need, or we meet again in a hotel with an old love of youth.
In a surreal atmosphere generated by Unreal Engine 4, the protagonist will relive key moments of his life and must face, once again, complicated decisions, having to deal with the consequences of them. The story evolves, therefore, depending on what we do, and there will be different possible endings, which will encourage us to play again and again to find out what would have happened if…
Plugged, which has already been given the green light on Steam, aims to raise £20,000 and the campaign concludes on May 30. The game will be available in July this year and we can get hold of it by contributing £10. We can also download a demo at this link.
