Prioritizing network connection Windows 7
Here’s a guide on how to prioritize your network connections in Windows 7. By default, the wireless network connection is first prioritized in Windows 7, this was not the case in Windows XP. The problem with that is that, for example, if you have your laptop in a dock with network cable connected and at the same time connected to the wireless internet connection, it will prioritize it first. I discovered the problem because I had poor signal to my access point, and then had a cable plugged in. That didn’t solve my problem. to bad ping times mm. that’s why I’ve made this guide that might help others.
1. Click “Start“and then “Panel”
2. Select “Network and internet”
3. Select “Network and sharing centre”
4. Click “Edit network card settings“on the left.
5. Now you can view your network connections, LAN connection and wireless network connection, etc. Click on the keyboard key “All“to display the menu at the top, here you must select “Advanced“and then “Advanced settings”.
6. Now you can then choose which network connection to prioritize first and then the next, etc.
