Few things attract as much attention to those who do not know virtual reality as a video of someone trying it for the first time, and much more in a Crescent Bay prototype, like the one shown at the SVVR.

Those of us who hallucinated at the time trying virtual reality for the first time on an Oculus Rift DK1 (what we tried at Expo 92 does not count), it is very difficult for us to imagine what it has to be like to face a virtual environment for the first time with a device like Crescent Bay, with its 90 Hz, its supposed 2560×1440 pixels and its absolute 360º positioning. Here you can see some funny reactions to the demos that Oculus has shown at the SVVR. Due to time constraints, they showed a few demos and not the full battery that Oculus showed at the Connect event during last September. Even so, it was more than enough to arouse the amazement of the attendees.
