As more and more people use smartphones, manufacturers have to create new lines to satisfy all sectors of the population. Now, it seems that even Apple is going to get into that trend, because information indicates that it will soon launch an even higher-end iPhone model than the Pro Max.
Mark Gurman, in charge of the technology section of Bloomberg and who commonly receives insider information from the industry, said in his newsletter that Apple knows that its public is willing to pay more money for better features, so it is making an even better iPhone: its name would be called iPhone Ultra.
I think it would make sense for Apple to eventually shift to 1 entry iPhone, 2 Pro iPhones and 1 Ultra iPhone. The last two attempts at new regular iPhone screen sizes (Mini and then Plus) have both been failures. So basically three high end and one entry level versus 2 and 2. https://t.co/uxy7Ryltnk

According to the report, Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, was in an earnings call with the company’s shareholders, who asked him what he thought about the rise in device prices. The executive simply stated that “I think people are willing to put in a lot of effort to get the best they can afford in that (high-end) category.” So, an even better phone is planned.
In theory, the name for the new member would be iPhone Ultra, something that sounds logical considering that Apple has already used that word for its high-end Apple Watch as well. What is not known is what the hypothetical cell phone could include, considering that it would be even more expensive than the Pro Max models are already sold at least starting at $1200 USD. There is speculation that the new model could include a larger screen, a more powerful processor and camera, or perhaps even wireless charging. Why not? You could even think of Apple’s first foldable smartphone.
At the moment it is not known if Apple plans to launch the iPhone Ultra this same year, with the iPhone 15.
