The creators of Riftmax Theater want to go one step further with this famous multimedia player that is much more than that and have decided to launch a Kickstarter campaign with the testimonial goal of just $ 1 to be able to dedicate more time and resources to polishing the program well and to add new features such as native support for PrioVR, STEM, ContrlVR and Virtuix Omni. Riftmax Theater will continue to be free no matter what happens next.
Riftmax Theater is much more than a multimedia player, since it also allows several people to enter the same session and be able to talk to each other, including avatars controllable through Razer Hydra (and more devices in the future, as we have commented before), thanks to which we will be able to do such curious things as shaking hands virtually with other users. It is the ideal program for a virtual meeting or for a fun karaoke night.
Riftmax allows you to play 2D, 3D videos, others with enhanced 4D effects, YouTube and live streams, host karaoke parties and even our own television show with virtual cameras that we can broadcast on our own channel. It also acts as a meeting room with a piano and ARCADE machines. We can support the campaign with the amount we want and we will get some interesting extras depending on our contribution such as our real name, exclusive avatars, our photo in the hall of fame and some more curiosities.
