There is no doubt that the demand for Gear VR by Spanish consumers has far exceeded all forecasts, which has forced Samsung Spain to extend the reservation period of the viewer co-developed with Oculus VR for a few more weeks.
Samsung has made it public on its website that we will have more time to pre-order Gear VR, and the expected marketing date is now mid-March. Although some users have already received their unit, it seems that a second batch is on the way. At the moment, in the Samsung online store you can only reserve the unit that does not include a gamepad and whose price is € 199, which is a pretty interesting offer for those who already have a Bluetooth controller and do not need to purchase the Samsung one.
According to the Samsung online store, the expected shipping date of this unit is March 2, which contradicts the press release of the Korean company. In any case, it seems that Samsung does not want any user to be left without their device.
