A family faces an unforgettable tragedy in this short film, created with Unreal Engine, which takes us to a seance. Enjoy the first 5 minutes of the story with OSVR, Rift and Vive.
Holospark has released a 5-minute demo of Séance: The Unquiet, a short film about ghosts created with Unreal Engine, in which we will witness the fate of a family while participating in a seance. Holospark tries to put users inside the movie, thanks to the combination of techniques such as motion capture and video game tools such as the Epic engine.
“We wanted to create an VR movie that would be immediately accessible and entertaining for the Netflix generation,” he says John Scott Tynes, executive producer of Holospark. “Using our experience as video game developers, we have been able to dynamically create emotional and cinematic moments in response to the user’s movements and attention.”
The characters in Séance will look us in the eye, and the music and sounds will respond based on where we direct our gaze. The full version of the short will be available at the end of the year and will last 20 minutes. We can download the demo for OSVR, Rift and Vive, totally free from the Oculus store and Steam, and it is recommended to live it while sitting down.
