I’m not an SEO expert, I might as well admit that. But I know a lot about the subject and can gradually see who wins and who loses. I have even had some pages where there has not been enough focus on a specific topic or where the keyword has simply been too optimistic. I think that is a mistake that a lot of people make and I will do my part to ensure that it does not happen to you.

The country is such that if you want to write about powerbanks, USB connectors, consumer loans or one of the other highly sought after keywords. Then there are just not very good options on Google.

Sure – the golden rule from countless guides, that the keyword should only have 1000 + searches and the pages on the list should preferably not have pagerank 9, it is then fulfilled. But therefore, the domains and the people behind can easily give it gas at a level where you as a beginner in the world of Google, can not keep up.

The result is a page where you focus a lot on a single keyword and don’t reach your goal. A gigantic disappointment. Therefore:

Keyword selection – be brilliant

In today’s Denmark, without huge SEO experiences or a crazy network. Then you simply have to be brilliant. I myself have recently made a page about Pizzasten – there are not many who have.

This means that despite the fact that the keyword has well over 1000 searches monthly and there are a handful of similar right up of it. Then it has been relatively easy to get to the top.

Then you are skilled in a little special topic, there are really good opportunities. Otherwise, you can also just be good at reading, analyzing and finding the entire web’s good advice on a web. You then collect them on a nice affiliate site, webshop or whatever you want.

All this, of course, after using the Google Adwords Keyword Tool, to find a keyword with an appropriate amount of traffic.

Longtails

Part of being brilliant, which is generally very popular right now, is to use longtails. Longtails means ”long tails”, i.e. keywords with long endings. For example, it could be ”super delicious layer cake for birthday” – if some are actually looking for this. Again, it’s just into Google Adwords and look around.

Here the philosophy is very clear: Rather 100 keywords with 20 searches, than 2 keywords with 1000. Simply because no one has written the sentence you are heading to before. In doing so, you almost immediately land at the top of the search and quickly get some traffic going.

Other promotion options

You can not find the right keyword, which is not too challenged. Yes, so there are also marketing methods in the world than just Google and other search engines. You can both use Google Adwords to throw your ads directly against the top of Google. Instagram Facebook, Twitter and social media can help you get lots of likes and convert some traffic. And last but not least, you can make offline campaigns with posters, banners and other traditional advertising methods. Something many forget is possible!
