The second Serious Sam encounter comes to virtual reality, being the third Croteam game that already has support for Rift and Vive.
Croteam has announced the arrival on Steam of Serious Sam VR: The Second Encounter, the sequel to Serious Sam VR: The First Encounter, which is now available with support for Rift and Vive and motion controllers. The Croatian company is fully committed to virtual reality, as they recently announced with the creation of the internal Croteam VR team that will be responsible for launching this year also in virtual reality the titles Serious Sam 3 VR: BFE and The Talos Principle VR. Like the previous installment, The Second Encounter has the campaign that we can play alone or in cooperative, multiplayer modes and the Serious Warp locomotion system that offers different displacement alternatives.
Serious Sam VR: The Second Encounter has Serious Sam Fusion 2017 integrated, a series of features that allow us, for example, to play with other The Second Encounter players who have the original, HD or VR version. The game includes its own teleportation system that allows us to move quickly, but we can choose the movement option that convinces us the most, including turning with analog stick. The new virtual installment of Serious Sam uses the Serious Engine 2017, allows you to control a weapon with each hand and has Steam Workshop support. Serious Sam VR: The Second Encounter is available with a 25% discount that leaves the game for a total of € 27.74, being € 36.99 its normal price.
