One of the most played multiplayer virtual reality games, prepares its arrival on PlayStation VR for this summer.
BigBox VR has announced the release for this summer of the version of PlayStation VR of Smashbox Arena, a multiplayer shooter already available for €19.99 for Rift and Vive, since the end of 2016. The game will arrive on the Sony platform by the hand of Archiact, who will be in charge of its adaptation. Smashbox Arena offers team battles in which we can shoot, crouch, take cover, collaborate with our teammates and take advantage of the power-ups we find. The game also includes a single player story mode.
Gabe Brown, co-founder of BigBox VR, has commented that they are very happy that the gaming community is growing, but he does not make it clear if the title will allow cross-platform play. They have also not indicated how the control will be carried out, although we understand that it will be with the Move controllers and using teleportation, just like in the PC version. Smashbox Arena will be available on PSVR this summer and you can find out more by reading our review of the Vive and Rift version.
