The company seems to be accelerating talent acquisition for its team located in the North West of England.
Manchester Hotels, one of the studios belonging to Worldwide Studios of Sony and which is totally dedicated to creating games for PSVR, continues to look for staff for their projects, as UploadVR posts, showing several recent job offers. As we have seen, they seem to be driving the hiring, as in the last quarter they have launched a total of 7 offers in which they are looking for artists, producers, designers and programmers to join in the task of creating “original games for PlayStation VR”.
The team is based in both Manchester and London, where the latter apparently share a workplace with London Studio, who are currently developing Blood & Truth, one of the PSVR exclusives expected for this year. Although Manchester Studio was formed in 2015, Sony referred to it as their “new VR studio” in the various published offerings.
We do not know what they will be preparing or if they will take since 2015 shaping some great exclusive VR project, although in one of the offers they comment that they are “a small but very experienced team that wants to create AAA games”.
