Quixel has announced the release date of its first title, a space survival game with motion controllers that will be available on February 16th.
The Swedish company, Quixel, an expert in the creation of texturing tools used by many companies such as Epic Games or Ubisoft in the creation of video games, takes the leap and enters the world of game creation with the launch of Homebound for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. In Homebound we take the role of a brave astronaut who faces a series of catastrophic events in the solitude of deep space with nothing but our nerves of steel and the ship’s AI to guide us. With our ship defective and heading for Earth, our mission will be to get out alive as quickly as possible.
