Take a break from the pc and have a party

We’re facing brighter times. The days are getting longer and warmer, and this means that soon we will not have to lie on the couch wearing woolen socks, and with the blanket wrapped around us. It is soon spring, and before the summer really takes hold, it is important to get it all ready for when the flowers and the beds pop out.

Should you have a company Summer Party, party for friends or have the whole family visit this summer, then it is a good idea to make the home and garden, if you have one, ready for guests. We have chosen to make a list of the things that you never really get done, but usually need a loving hand

1. All the traditional
   It’s no use having a nice garden, or waiting for the sun’s rays to embrace you in the living room, if your windows are so dirty that you can’t look out and the light can’t penetrate. Therefore, be sure to clean windows, mirrors and sliding doors so that light can enter, and be sure to take the winter clothes down to the basement or up to the attic. In general, it is a real spring cleaning we are talking about.

2. The lawn
   It can really be a delight for the eye with a delicious green lawn in the summer, but at the same time a dilapidated lawn can be a stain on the house as a whole. If your lawn is inclined to the end, remove weeds and Moss before cutting it over with the mower. By cleaning up the grass, you give the new grass better opportunities to grow. It is always a good idea to cutminimum 5 cm. off the first time you mow the lawn.

3. Clean the sidewalk & amp; driveway
   Tile plague, weeds, engine oil, Moss, pizza trays or beer mugs – all things you can find on the sidewalk outside where you live. Many people think that garbage on one’s sidewalk is the municipality’s job, but it’s actually the landowner’s. Therefore, clear the pavement, and then clean it of moss and weeds. If you also have a driveway, then you may need to have the high pressure washer and chemicals running to get rid of the engine oil, the tile plague and the algae.

4. Facade, roof, walls and ceiling
   It may be that the house requires a facade renovation, and that the wall and ceiling need a treatment with the paint brush. These are things that take time, but it really is also things that benefit the appearance of the home. In addition, it is soon spring, the perfect time to do it. Here it is warm enough for you to bother working outdoors but at the same time not hot enough for you to lie still and soak up the sun.

5. Climbing stairs
   The stairs are important to keep track of if you live in a house. The staircase has a lot of traffic, which means that it is often subject to a lot of wear and tear. If you have a white wall by the stairs, you probably know about the dark lines put by greasy fingers on the wall, where many illogically have chosen to use the wall as a support instead of the handrail. 6. Ceiling / Basement
   Summer is the wet period, where we are occasionally exposed to torrential rain and very changeable weather, and summer is therefore also known for people getting water in the basement. Therefore, be sure to have a dehumidifier in the basement and get cleaned up. When you clean up, make sure that delicate things stand on shelves like 10-20 cm. above floor height. The less you have standing on the floor, the better. Also check if your place of residence has had drainage pipes and had high water closures. This has become statutory, but many older homes have not yet had their drains renovated

   When it comes to the ceiling, you might as well get cleared out when you are going up there anyway with the winter clothes. That way, you always have room for unpredictable things that need to be stored all of a sudden. If you live in a house, remember the attic and basement stairs, as they are often overlooked when it comes to cleaning and renovation, while also being exposed to a great deal of wear and tear.

   If your current access to the attic is not optimal, you may have to look for a more functional and nicer loft staircase. Loft stairs are becoming fashionable again, mainly because they do not take up very much space. Loft stairs additionally have wider steps and the distance between the steps is shorter, making it safer for younger as well as older occupant.
