At this point there cannot be any Oculus Rift user (especially if they come from the time of DK1) who does not know Titans of Space, an exciting journey through the solar system and some stars of the universe. Today its creator returns to the charge with a new experience.
This time Drash needs funding and for this he has launched a Kickstarter campaign, since the goal of Apollo XI VR Experience is much more ambitious, since it uses NASA archive data to recreate Neil Armstrong’s trip in 1969. You can download a conceptual prototype to see on your DK2 or on monitor and get an idea of what its creator is pursuing. Its characteristics are as follows:
- Digital models of the Saturn V, the Command Module, the Lunar Lander, the astronauts and the Launch Tower
- Original NASA Audio, the Command Module and the Lunar Lander
- Interviews with the astronauts themselves
- Guided tour or interactive experience, your choice
You can support the campaign with €10 to get the full experience, scheduled for July this year. The campaign ends on March 14 and its goal is to raise €30,000.
