The Festival of Disruption will feature a demo in which attendees will immerse themselves in the world of Twin Peaks, from Glastonbury Grove to the red room.
The classic TV series Twin Peaks you will have a virtual reality game (or experience) for Rift and Vive, which will be developed by Collider Games with the collaboration of David Lynch, the co-creator of the series. Twin Peaks VR it is based on both the last season that premiered in 2017 and the two that were broadcast in the 90s. Our goal will be to escape from the famous red room to try to return to reality, that is, we will have to go through the same trauma that Agent Dale Cooper of the series lived, all accompanied by lines of dialogue and sounds taken directly from the show.
Collider at the moment has not shared more information or when Twin Peaks VR will be available, but next week (days 13 and 14 October) attendees at the Festival of Disruption, organized by Lynch himself in Los Angeles (USA), they can try a demo of the experience. The game will be published on Steam.
Twin Peaks was first released between 1990 and 1991, and had a total of 30 episodes in which the plot revolved around a mysterious murder that soon gave way to a story that mixed terror with the supernatural, spiritual and psychological.
