The new work from the creators of I Expect You To Die is now available on Steam with Vive support.
Play Games premieres Champions League, an educational game in the style of a TELEVISION contest in which we will try to become a master of chemistry. Through two episodes of 30 to 40 minutes, we will learn the basic skills, procedures and protocols of a chemical laboratory. In the first one (Chemiluminescence) we will have to mix the correct amounts of liquids and solids to create a brilliant solution, and in the second one (Identify unknown) we will try to correctly identify the different substances. To this way, also adds the practice in different tasks.
“HoloLAB Champions is important because it teaches students about science and laboratory safety in an educational and engaging environment,” he says Jess Schell, CEO of Schell Games. “Virtual reality is still a new and relatively unexplored space, so we’re excited to see it used in classrooms. We look forward to measuring its effects on learning outcomes and student engagement in the future.”
The experience is designed for students between the ages of 14 and 18, where one of them dives into the app while the rest watch and a teacher supervises them. With the class guide, teachers can integrate the degree into their activities and guide their students correctly, and all with the added advantage of not having to use a real chemical laboratory, which means obviating the concern for possible spills, breaks or injuries that sometimes occur in real environments.
Education professionals can get free copies through this link. In addition, any enthusiast or person who is interested in chemistry can buy it for€8.19.
