Word adds one more tool that you can write better and without errors. It’s called Microsoft Editor and it uses artificial intelligence.

One of the many advantages of writing in Word, the most popular program in the office suite Microsoft Office, is that while you are writing you receive help in the form of spelling and grammar correction. This can be very useful whether you’re writing in your language or in a language you’re unfamiliar with.

In addition, in recent years, Word has been incorporating more related functions to consult information. For example, integrating Wikipedia. The next step has been integrating artificial intelligence to help you write in Word.

Under the name of Microsoft Office or Microsoft Editor, this feature employs artificial intelligence. And it supports up to 20 languages, including Spanish. It’s not just about correcting your spelling or grammar, it also takes into account other aspects.

Integrated in Word and in your browser

This Microsoft Editor can be found from now on Word Online, the browser version of the word processor. In the future it will also be integrated with Word for desktop and with Outlook for desk. On the other hand, you can install the Microsoft Editor extension for the browser, being compatible with Google Chrome and with Microsoft Edge.

This extension is free and will help you while writing anywhere, whether Microsoft, like Outlook or Linkedinor third parties, such as Gmail or Facebook. Wherever you have to type from your web browser, you’ll get spelling, grammar and style help.

And if you are a customer of the paid version of Office Online, known as Microsoft 365, the Microsoft Editor will provide you with more information to improve your writing.

In addition, in Word Online and in Outlook Online you’ll find it directly in the toolbar. Pressing the button Editor a column will be displayed where you rate and show suggestions and comments about what you have written at the time.

In short, this Microsoft Editor is a way to updating correction tools by adding the popular ingredient of artificial intelligence to help you learn by yourself by correcting your texts.
