LiDAR can create a depth map by measuring how long it takes light to reach the object and reflect back. In this regard, a new specially designed Apple scanner LiDAR works on the “nanosecond speeds” at a distance of five meters from the object, which according to the company, can be both inside and outside. It basically gives it a more accurate way of displaying the room for more accurate scenarios AR.
