The title, which arrives today on the US store, will receive a free update in October that will allow you to play some scenes in virtual reality.
The Network has announced that its futuristic shooter Gene Rain it will be available today in the American store, although at the moment it does not support PSVR, since the partial support will come through a Free DLC in October. This mode, which will last approximately an hour and a half and will only reach the console version, will allow us to play some of the best scenes (both in third and first person) of the title with gamepad or Aim Controller.
The reason for not including VR support for the entire game is because it would “make users dizzy,” they have shared. So it’s not about performance issues, it’s about the design of the title itself.
History places us at the end of the twenty-first century, a time when science and technology allow human beings to modify their genetic sequence, but not everyone is able to adapt to the process. Our job as part of the Death Squadron will be to stop Gene Rain’s forces, who are distributing the agents of genetic change through wind towers.
Among its features, we find different types of weapons with the possibility of improvement, 3D sound system for the shots and enemies with an AI that responds in different ways based on the situation.
