The RFID system was deployed on the “Digital plant NEVZ”Ekaterina Alexandrova
Novocherkassk electric locomotive plant (NEVZ) is a Russian manufacturer of mainline freight and passenger electric locomotives industrial. In February 2018, the plant started a large-scale
the project “Digital plant NEVZ” under the control of the General contractor – the company “2050-Integrator”. One of the key solutions implemented was a system for monitoring and tracking
production facilities in the supply chain technology radio frequency identification (RFID). Work on the design and deployment of the system was entrusted to Russian
RFID integrator – the company “Ajjtiproekt”.
The NEVZ plant carries out the Assembly of traction electric locomotives of large parts and components entering the facility or produced at the plant. This is the skeleton of the traction motor, bogie frame, body
locomotive, building cabins, etc. To track the movement of Assembly units all component units and recycling containers before they leave the warehouse and go to the production workshop
marked UHF RFID tags, which records an identifier that is bound to a record in the database. More than 130 fixed RFID readers installed at all entrances-exits in
production facilities, stairs and Assembly posts, allow you to automatically trace the process route of the parts and components and to monitor compliance with technology and time
production by reading the IDs of tags, and passing it over a corporate network to a database on a Central server. The RFID system processes the data received and, in the case
deviations from the routes and regulations, inform the Manager.
Data transmitted ITProect RFID Server in the corporate production management system MES 1C, allow for effective planning, synchronization, and automation of the production
processes.
To monitor the production process at the enterprise equipped Situation centre, which is on a Central server that receives all information about the production process and displayed on
the video wall. The specialists of “Ajjtiproekt” was modified system ITProject Tracking System that analyzes collected data and generates text and graphic analytical reports representing
information in readable and understandable form, allowing the Manager to control process flow and to react promptly to emergency events. Information about deviations duplicated
e-mail Manager.
The project used stationary RFID readers Impinj Speedway Revolution R420 UHF and RFID tags Omni-ID Max is designed to mark metal objects. At the moment
the turnover is about 20 thousand UHF RFID, the same plan to purchase in the near future. For object identification, labeling and control of movement in places where stationary
readers are not installed, the company used a hand-held mobile RFID reader Chainway C72 mounted with ITProject software Mobile Tracking.
Thanks to the introduction of RFID technology management of the enterprise can get complete information about the production process, when and where you need it, across the entire value chain and life
cycle of the product. RFID technology to automate the accounting of inventories and reduce unproductive time in the production process. Expected in the enterprise, RFID monitoring system
movements of inventories will allow us to make decisions to ensure the rhythm of production on all the major stages of the technological chain and to increase the efficiency of the planning system.
The RFID system will allow for operational management of stock materials, thanks to the rapid inventory in the shops, to facilitate procurement planning of raw materials for the execution of production plans,
to protect marriage and ensure transparency of accounting inventories, to ensure traceability of the entire life cycle of the parts.
The RFID system has become the basis of a centralized digital platform, allowing to accumulate the information related to technology and organization of production processes, the analysis of which will allow
to improve efficiency and productivity in the future.
