There is no doubt that Artificial Intelligence is increasingly and better integrated into our lives, proof of this are the countless applications and services that are being developed to facilitate our day to day. In the last edition of Xataka Live 2018, held on Saturday, November 17, Mr. Liuhuabing, Head of Movistar Home at Telefónica, had the opportunity to participate as a speaker and explain in a simple way the development of Aura: the Artificial Intelligence of Telefónica, which represents a new model of relationship with customers based on the Cognitive Intelligence.
Aura is part of a process of digital transformation of Telefónica that began years ago, with the complex task of simplifying, adapting and digitizing the company to provide intelligence to the three platforms it already had (infrastructure, systems and products and services). This process continues with the homogenization and standardization of access to these 3 platforms through the 4th platform, and is completed with the development, on this, of the cognitive platform, which allows to offer through Aura the capabilities of artificial intelligence.
Aura defines a new model of relationship between the telecommunications company and its customers, offering uniformity and simplicity in forms and transparency and control over your personal data. This facilitates the discovery of new services across multiple channels.
Aura at Movistar Home, the device that reinvents the Home experience
Movistar Home is the home device that works with Aura. Incorporated into all its services and equipped with touch screen allows users to manage the contents of Movistar + as well as communications and connectivity with just a voice command ”OK Aura”.
Movistar Home it represents another step in the evolution of the Fusion offer in Spain, where Artificial Intelligence is already becoming a reality for the customer.
On October 18, the commercial launch of the device took place, during a special broadcast of the Late Motiv program. Throughout the presentation, conducted by Andreu Buenafuente, it was announced what the device offers at this time and the functionalities that will be presented in its next “release”.
“For our customers, it is an opportunity to simplify their digital living at home and to be able to offer them a broader value proposition, with new third-party services that they can access from their ecosystem of devices at Home,” Mancebo said in a presentation that was broadcast live and energized on Social Networks.
