This new generation of the Porsche Macan has engines of up to 470 kW (639 HP) with E-Performance characteristics in any terrain and great versatility for daily use.
The performance of this sports car is combined with a high-performance fast charging, up to 270 kW, and an autonomy that reaches 613 kilometers in the WLTP cycle.

The battery consists of 12 cells that could be easily removed independently each of them if necessary; the total weight of the battery is 570 kilos.

Porsche exclusively uses the latest generation of permanently activated PSM electric motors on the front and rear axles to achieve excellent efficiency and enable optimal power transmission.
The electrified automotive industry is making leaps and bounds in terms of technological advances, as well as public preference; American and European car brands are facing constant competition from Asian companies that offer innovation at affordable prices, so it’s a close battle.

Although it is true that Porsche’s first all-electric SUV arrives somewhat late, taking into account the Asian alternatives, it is nice to see a brand so beloved by the public and with a great history in the motor world taking steps towards the electrified future.
