Ridley Scott is producing a virtual reality experience, which turns us into a neomorph about to be born, based on the upcoming Alien movie.
20th Century Fox he announced that this Wednesday 26 April, coinciding with Alien day, Utero, a virtual reality experience based on the upcoming film in the saga, will be released. Alien: Covenant in Utero it consists of a 360º journey that turns us into a neomorph at the moment of its birth, living the first moments of this fearsome species. The experience has been produced by Ridley Scott and directed by David Karlak, in collaboration with FoxNext VR, RSA VR, MPC VR, Technicolor, AMD Radeon and Dell Inspiron.

Alien: Covenant is Ridley Scott’s new film that tells the story of the crew of the Covenant ship, which travels to a remote planet on the other side of the galaxy, where they discover what they think is an unexplored paradise, but it turns out to be a dark and hostile world whose only inhabitant is a “synthetic” named David, survivor of the ill-fated Prometheus expedition. The film hits theaters on May 12 in Spain and May 19 in the United States.
The experience will also be available in the Oculus store this Wednesday, but it has not been indicated which viewers will be compatible and if it will reach other platforms.
