The Chinese company wants to bring the adapter to more users, and to do so has reduced the price of the version for Rift.
With the aim of making your wireless solution more attractive to the public, TPCast has announced a price drop for the Oculus Rift compatible version of your wireless adapter, which can now be purchased by 359€ (before 389€). This price is now more similar to the version for Vive, which has an official cost of 349€.
“The TPCAST Consumer Edition (CE) wireless adapter for Oculus Rift is the only wireless VR PC solution available on the market today, and has been shipping to Europe since December 2017. This reduction will benefit VR enthusiasts to explore wireless VR, ” says Reiner Pes, GM of TPCast.
Along with the price reduction, they have also launched a new software version (available at this link) that enhances the wireless experience. “With TPCAST, Oculus Rift users will be able to enjoy a wireless VR experience that maintains the same high quality as a standard wired connection,” Pes says. The solution of the Chinese company offers a latency of 2 ms and a range of up to 5 hours with the battery of 20,100 mAh.
TPCast shows on its website as official distributors for Spain Alternate and Schenker stores. In the first of them the device has a price of 314€, which means a greater reduction.
