University cluster reached southern Russia on Thursday, 20 November, the company “Sinterra-South” has announced that it has completed work on connecting a few Universities in the South of Russia to the infrastructure of the Federal program “University cluster”.
“Sinterra-Yug” connected to “cluster” three of the largest University in the southern Federal district – state technical University, Saratov state University and the Kuban state University. On today’s University cluster obyedinyaet more than 30 Russian Universities from St. Petersburg to Vladivostok and
provides them with access to computing clusters with a total peak performance of more than 160 TFlops speed.
