Following its launch on the Oculus platform, Psytec announces the arrival of Windlands 2 to Vive and Windows MR.
UPGRADE:
Psytec has announced that this Friday (16 november) the Windlands sequel will be available on Steam. The game comes with support for Vive, Windows MR, and Rift, plus support for SteamVR Input, Knuckles drivers (not yet available), achievements, and leaderboards.
The PSVR version is still scheduled for 2019.

On the occasion of the Windlands 2 pre-purchase opening in Oculus Store (for€ 25.49), Psytec has published a new trailer in which we can see in action some of the features and mechanics that the sequel will offer.

Psytec Games there’s a release date for the new installment of Windlands, which will add new mechanics and 4-player co-op mode. Windland 2 it will be available next September 12 at the Oculus store with support for Rift. The studio plans to soon share departure dates for Vive, Windows MR and PSVR, although they are expected to arrive in 2019. On the occasion of the announcement, they have shared the following launch trailer that we can see below.
Using our hook, we will re-sail the ruins of Windlands with the mission to destroy gigantic titans and save the world from an ancient danger. In addition to the hook-based locomotion and parkour-type platform system, there are also areas that reward exploration, co-op mode for up to 4 players, a new bow-type weapon, a story with voices for NPCs and events, original soundtrack, speed racing mode and collecting challenges with leaderboards, multiple advanced modes (including “no hooks”, “one life” and “hook up to anything”) and collectibles, secrets and achievements that reward exploration.
Windlands 2 will be priced at $ 29.99 on all platforms.
