TriDef has just released version 1.0b8 of the addon for Oculus Rift, which adds support for 18 new games in virtual reality. According to the representative of TriDef in the forum, they still do not have any DK2 and until they have it they will not be able to make any announcement regarding its support. Therefore, the first to receive the DK2 will not be able to use TriDef with games that do not have native support.
TriDef owners can download the add-on from this link, which as we have mentioned before, will have to be tested for the moment on the DK1. But even if they don’t have a DK2 yet at TriDef, it would have been nice if they had made some comment regarding the new Oculus SDK, since they could have already implemented support for the DK2 lenses, the new and improved sensor fusion system and even the TimeWarp. But at least they have already broken their silence of several months, so in the meantime we will wait for new developments.
