VirZOOM’s virtual reality platform will reach gyms and venues around the world, thanks to AMD equipment and HTC viewers.
VirZOOM, creator of the game VirZOOM Arcade and static bike VirZOOM bike, has announced a strategic agreement with AMD to bring your VR platform to gyms and arcades around the world. AMD will be in charge of offering the small PCs that will give life to the virtual experiences offered by VirZOOM Arcade, which include a series of games such as driving a formula 1, a tank or a bike, among others. The title of the company, available on the main platforms, is compatible with gamepad, but the ideal is to use a bike like the VirZOOM bike, so that we advance as we pedal, thus creating a more enjoyable experience for our times of physical exercise.
“We are excited about the opportunities offered by virtual reality solutions for premises, which allow us to reach consumers and present them with a wide range of virtual experiences,” he says Daryl Sartain, director and head of virtual reality and displays at AMD Radeon Technologies Group.
VirZOOM is carrying out the installation with AMD hardware, HTC virtual reality viewer and Life Fitness machines with which to do real exercise. The option to opt for Life Fitness has been to ensure the durability of the machines. “The goal is to make users forget that they are exercising when they are immersed in the gaming experience,” says Amad Amin, director of digital product at Life Fitness.
