HTC’s content driving company launches a new game for Sony’s virtual reality.
Vive Studios prepare the launch in PSVR from another of their virtual reality titles: the game Kingdom of Bladeswhich has been available for Rift and has lived since February of last year. In this way, they will already have two contents published on the Sony platform, given that the first was the boxing game Knockout League.
Kingdom of Blades is a casual cartoon style game developed by Chessstar Studios. Our mission as a warrior immersed in the Period of the Three Kingdoms of China will be to face hordes of enemies and face different generals by using swords. The campaign is divided into a series of chapters that recreate historical scenarios of this time, offering dialogues in the style of “a play in VR”. As we can see in the following trailer, it reminds Fruit Ninja by the style of the waves.
We will have a wide arsenal of emblematic weapons, different improvements for our armor, support attacks such as lightning or rain of arrows of archers, selfie mode at the end of a level and leaderboards for the unlimited wave mode.
Its price is expected to be similar to the€ 9.99 it has on Steam, and should be available from today on PlayStation Store, as announced by Sony in the official blog.
