The company presents at the IAAPA Attractions Expo another recreational machine design that would make use of the Beat Games game.
Since Beat Games announced the arcade license for its music game a few months ago, there are already two designs that have appeared of machines dedicated to this purpose. On this occasion, VRsenal has decided to use the VR system of HTC, Live Pro. The cabin, of 2.8 square meters, which can be installed in 30 minutes without the need for technical knowledge, or previous experience of any kind, would allow visitors to make use of the viewer and the gamepads to play games of Beat Saber no assistant needed.
We have been operating VR products for more than two years in front of the public, which has given us a perspective on what works and what doesn’t,” says Ben Davenport, Founder and CEO of VRsenal. “Success in this field requires a product capable of meeting the high requirements of virtual reality. But without the drawbacks present in most commercial systems. It’s not enough to offer a fun experience, it has to be profitable, lucrative, easy to operate and you need to do all of this without anyone getting dizzy, ever. And fulfilling all this would be impossible without robust, completely autonomous apparatus, designed to play content of the Beat Saber level, which has become a phenomenon of musical games instantly after its release. People from across the demographic spectrum love to play and watch their friends play.”
Each cockpit features an 80-inch 4k screen, protected by a quarter-inch windshield, that shows what the player sees in great detail. With a computer equipped with an i7 processor and a GTX 1080 graphics card from Nvidia, which will connect to the HMD through a retractable rail that will offer greater freedom of movement, activated by an intuitive and efficient charging system. And as icing on the cake, a holographic sign with the game’s title gives it a futuristic look.
The booth is currently on display at booth 3886 at IAAPA Attraction Expo 2018 in Orlando, Florida. But VRsenal still does not offer data on the release date or price.
