The 5G has just arrived and is still being deployed. But do we know anything about 6G? Some experts in the field have ventured to define some of its future characteristics.
There is no doubt that technology changes our lives as it is updated. It’s hard to imagine a world without mobile phones or the Internet.
They keep coming up new technologieshowever, not all of them alter human life with the same intensity. Currently, the 5G it is booming, and is beginning to spread in different parts of the world.
Although it is still in the early stages of its deployment, the major telecommunications companies are already clear about its role.
This makes us wonder, what would it take to upgrade the 5G network in the future and get a 6G network?
The University of Bremen, in Germany, has defined what will be the limitations of 5G and what factors will guide us to 6G. His conclusion has been that artificial intelligence will be the one that manages to improve the advanced technology of 5G, according to MIT sources.
The 6G will, of course, offer a higher download speed, which could approach 1 tera per second. This speed will give us a degree of instantaneous that we can’t even imagine yet. It will be useful in many areas, a great example is that of autonomous cars. The vehicles of the future will need to know where they are and what their environment is like at all times.
This means a changing space full of cyclists, pedestrians and other cars that keep moving. The reaction speed of the autonomous cars you will need an even more powerful network than 5G, which, for now, will only allow you to use connected cars.
6G will allow shipping immense amounts of real-time data that will improve the financial market, health systems and the ability to predict and react to any event that may happen instantly.
Artificial intelligence will have to interpret these amounts of data. The role of AI will be vital in the future of communications.
