Some time ago we had told you that WhatsApp was working on a Premium subscription for business and at the time there were some leaks about it. Now, it seems that the testing stage is over, because the function is already starting to be distributed.
WABetaInfo reported that some WhatsApp business accounts that have the Beta version of the application for iOS and Android are seeing a new message that is inviting them to subscribe to the Premium plan. As leaked at the time, this subscription adds 2 important features that many companies can take advantage of.
The first of the features is to be able to create a personalized web link for people to communicate with your company. For example, you can use the link “https://wa.me/miempresa “, so whoever types that address from their browser will be redirected to a WhatsApp conversation with your business automatically. Without a doubt, that’s a much simpler way to invite people to comment than giving them a phone number.
The other great feature is the possibility of linking up to 10 different devices with the same WhatsApp Business account, so that different administrators or community managers can manage it simultaneously.
It should be noted that WhatsApp Business will remain a free option and that this Premium subscription will simply add extra features. If you are not interested, don’t worry, because you can continue using the base version at no cost.
