The well-known media player is going into beta phase in its version for mobile devices based on the Oculus SDK.
If there is something that Oculus Go stands out about the Rift desktop is for its new lenses and the resolution of its screen, and this makes it a more appropriate device for multimedia playback (not to mention the absence of cables). That is why the well-known Whirligig player, which has been available for Oculus Rift and also for SteamVR, is about to make the jump to Oculus Go and GearVR.
The beta is now available in the Oculus Go Store, but is only accessible by invitation, so those interested should contact the author directly and receive free access (limited to 100 users due to Oculus store restrictions). They will also receive a key for the final version when it is available. In this Reddit link you have the details to contact the author in case you are interested.
