A new installment that will focus this time only on offering a first-person shooter with time-slowing mechanics and intense combat against enemies.
Winking Entertainment has announced Unearthing Mars 2: The Ancient War, the sequel to his game that debuted in March of last year and that bet on different mechanics in each of the chapters that composed it. This time it’s a first-person shooter that highlights the ability to slow down time, boss fights and compatibility with Aim Controller. History will take us to Mars on a journey back in time to uncover the secrets of an ancient civilization torn apart by an ongoing war.
“In the end, Unearthing Mars 2 is all about boss battles. From fighting superhuman monsters or giant automatons to fighting in space limbo, these boss battles will test your ability to shoot and offer unique gameplay in every fight, ” he says Eleanor Liu from Winking.
As we can see in the trailer, the movement seems to work through a rapid displacement similar to teleportation. The ability to slow down time will allow us to discover the weak points of enemies and shoot them more accurately. For this, we will have a wide variety of weapons such as assault rifles, shotguns, rocket launchers, plasma rifles and automatic cannons.
Unearthing Mars 2 will be available for PSVR the 18 september, and although his previous installment came to PC, at the moment there is no more information about it.
