Xiaomi made it to Fortune Global 500| 22.07.2019
After nine years since its founding, Xiaomi Corporation first came to the Fortune Global 500 and became the youngest company of the year.
468 taking place with the revenue 433,50 26 million dollars and a net profit of 2 049,10 million dollars in the previous financial year, Xiaomi also got to seventh position in
category “Internet services and retailing”.
In 2012, the company topped 10 billion yuan (approx 1 453,72 million U.S. dollars) of revenue. In 2017 100 billion yuan (about 14 537,21 million U.S. dollars).
In June of this year, Xiaomi was also included in the list of Fortune’s China 500, taking the 53rd place.
According to the international research organization IDC, as of March 2019 Xiaomi became the world’s fourth largest smartphone brand in terms of volume, demonstrating
32,2% increase on the previous year.
