On 13 July signed a deal to takeover Yahoo! American Corporation Verizon Communications. However, the latter was not entire company, and only some of its units, but the most commercially viable. We are talking about TechCrunch, HuffPost, Tumblr, AOL. All of these projects will be combined into a brand called Oath. The new structure will be headed by Tim Armstrong, who now runs the company AOL.
Armstrong has already set new brand ambitious goal: to collect about 2 billion customers, and earn at least 10 billion dollars until the end of 2020.
At the same time, the company Yahoo! completely gone. Under the deal, she retained 36% stake. Another 15% will be the basis for the establishment of the Fund Altaba Inc.
