The 360º live broadcasts will reach new levels of immersion and realism thanks to the increase in image quality offered by the 4K resolution, already available on YouTube.
In 2010, YouTube introduced standard videos with 4K quality for the first time, and this time they launch the possibility of broadcasting live at that resolution for both traditional videos and 360º videos. This allows a new level of face to broadcast live events, increasing the immersion thanks to the higher visual quality that will allow us to see with total clarity wherever we look. To celebrate, tomorrow at 2:30 (CET, Spanish time) the Game Awards will be broadcast live in 4K, although nothing has been mentioned about whether we will be able to see them in 360º.
Those interested in knowing more information about how to make the configuration to broadcast in 4K up to 60 fps can consult the official Google help and the specific part of 360º, where all the steps to follow are included.
