It is clear that 360 video streaming was not going to be something exclusive to Samsung. The portal par excellence of this type of content, YouTube, is already preparing for the support of videos with this type of format, with which any manufacturer will be able to prepare the appropriate software to play it on their device.
It seems that Gizmodo has obtained the official confirmation from YouTube itself, with which very soon we will be able to use the 360º cameras to record directly in this format and view it on any device, from a simple Cardboard onwards. Of course, one thing is 360º video and another is that this video is 3D, which is not available to anyone, since its capture presents several problems, such as the fact that the two cameras would see each other, although we are convinced that everything will be fine. At the moment it is excellent news that Google continues to bet on virtual reality. What a year awaits us!
