“Daughter” of the ISG decided to attract potential customers on Monday, 24 November, the company ISG has announced that its subsidiary firm CDR* started the construction in Moscow of its third data center (DPC).
New data center firm the CDR decided to build a new well for the creation of such objects principle. Namely, the company invited potential clients of the center to become real estate investors. His proposal for
equity project company addresses primarily the Telecom operators, content providers, hosting centers, banks and other organizations using a powerful computing
resources.
The evaluation of the CDR, the equity scheme will allow customers to save operating costs by using external computing power. The organization renting the new data center 50
server rooms, a year can save about $ 1 million. At the same time, simultaneous participation in the shared data center will be “commensurate with the same number”. More precisely, the minimum lot joining the project
will be the same $1 million.
As for the data center, its total area is 3 thousand sq. m. Half of these meters is actually a technological platform, which is planned to accommodate 450 telecommunications
of cabinets with the server equipment. By the way, based on these figures, it becomes clear that at max CDR will be able to involve in the project about nine or ten equity partners.
The company expects to complete all works on construction and equipping of a new data center with the necessary equipment and engineering systems for nine to twelve months.
*The CDR was founded in 2006. This company is engaged in construction and maintenance of data centers. Its first facility built in 2007. To date, CDR has already built and equipped
necessary equipment the second data center. Its commercial operation is scheduled for the first quarter of next year.
