CEA intends to meet our growing needs| 20.08.2008
Wednesday, August 20, the Russian economic Academy (REA) im. G. V. Plekhanov has announced that it is conducting a competition to select a supplier of computer hardware and software
necessary for “the development of the information platform” of the CEA in the framework of the priority national project “Education” in 2007-2008 (phase III).
According to the competitive documentation, the Academy expects due to new technology and to ensure the development of organizational management information system CEA and its affiliates.
The need to modernize the system of the University explains the “growing needs in terms of automation, organization and management of educational process and research activities.”
The winning bidder will have to supply for 30 departments and 35 units of REA and also for divisions of the Academy of laptops, workstations, monitors, printers, scanners, copiers, devices
for reading e-books. In the case AT we are talking about the operating system Microsoft Windows Vista Business Russian, office and antivirus software on the OCR system.
In General, REA requires 30 laptops, 325 PC for 65 various network printers, scanners and copiers, 325 OS kits, 355 sets of office and antivirus software, as well as 85
sets of systems of recognition of texts.
In addition to the supply and installation of equipment the customer intends to entrust to the contractor working on the development of the instructional framework created by the teaching laboratories. Here the contractor is going to perform three
tasks:
– on the “Development of educational laboratory network training Corporation CEA, the development of a new training course “Managing marketing effectiveness” with a set of teaching materials on the basis of
existing in the laboratory FOR Cognos 8 BI and Cognos 8 PM”;
– on “Development training course “Automated decision-making in the financial sector” with a set of teaching materials based on the new, modern software class
“Computer aided decision””;
– on the “Creation of the laboratory analysis of cluster initiatives in the Russian economy on the basis of educational laboratories network Corporation REA”.
Execution of all these works, the Academy was estimated at 37 million 511 thousand.
CEA will accept applications for participation in this competition is 25 September, and the results of trades plans to bring the 9 Oct.
