The new AntVR product is available for purchase through an Indiegogo campaign.

VVR, the Chinese company responsible for the augmented reality viewer MIX and other virtual reality products, is conducting a crowdfunding campaign to Cap, a camera with the following features: capture images (4480×2240) and videos (3852×1926 to 15 fps and 2752×1376 to 30 fps) in stereoscopic, small size for easy transportation (114 grams of weight), capture stereo sound with two microphones, LCD screen for your configuration and to see what we are focusing on, battery of 1900 mAh to achieve a range of 120 minutes of recording, function of time-lapse, live broadcast and application to control the camera from our mobile.

As they explain, the field of view, aspect ratio and image distortion of Cap are designed to match current VR viewers, making it possible to view the 3D format on any platform. “With other 3D or VR cameras, the images that are exported cannot be viewed directly, and special software is needed to reproduce them with the proper field of view, aspect ratio and distortion calibration. If a platform does not support a 3D format, then it cannot be uploaded or streamed live on that platform. That’s what makes Cap special.”

Indiegogo’s campaign has exceeded its target of $ 5,000 and still has 15 active days. We can get the Cap camera, which includes a tripod and a carrying bag, for $ 119. Shipments are scheduled for this month.
