Oculus has released an unexpected update for Dead and Buried II, and they even feel the need to give your own caption: Reloaded . Free update brings new modes, maps, weapons and characters.
Dead and Buried II — the first multiplayer shooter Oculus with cross-play between the Quest and Rift. Launched in 2019, the game was a modest success, and it seemed that Oculus will leave it as is. However, today the company has released an update of Dead and Buried II: Reloaded, which significantly extends the capabilities of the game.
Free upgrade applies to version game Quest and Rift and adds three new modes: Survival, Horde and Quickdraw:
Survival mode (Survival) is a completely new game mode in which you survive in a crowd of enemies with three of your friends collecting energy balls to go on the cards. It includes three new maps, located in Fort, the Canyon and the Alps.
Modes quickdraw (Quickdraw) and hordes (Horde) back by popular demand, bringing some of the original aromas Dead and Buried Dead and Buried II: Reloaded . Quickdraw is played 1 on 1 in the main city, and Horde mode includes four maps and four unique bosses at the courthouse theatre, saloon and Ghost town. The Horde is played in co-op with four players or bots.
In the original modes new maps. In Shootout added four new maps that support matches of 3 on 3 with the ability to play with bots. Deathmatch, six player free for all (also with infill by the bots), gets two new cards Spookytown and Alpine.
It is not all! The update also introduces five new weapons — the Tomahawk “Jaw”, “Lightning trap”, “slug trap”, “Hawk” and “Gun skull” — and two new characters for players to choose from.
It is a surprisingly substantial update for Dead and Buried, which seems to have significantly expanded the scope of the game, not raising the price. Good thing, since the game is a great way for players to Quest and Rift to play together or against each other.
