I couldn’t end the week without a new demo from our partner Hyperlight, who continues to make progress with Unreal Engine 4 and dares to implement the basic mechanics of a third-person shooter with Prototype.
In Prototype we have a huge mapping to move through, with that lighting and good taste for details brand of the Hyperlight house. There will be various enemies scattered around the map, some will attack us as soon as they see us and others will only respond if they are attacked. We’ll have to keep an eye on the life and ammo indicators, and even reload the weapon when the time comes. Considering that it is the work of a single person who has not even been working with Unreal Engine for two months and who is just starting to learn how to animate, it seems to us that the demo, which you can download now on RoVDB, has a great merit. Congratulations Hyperlight, we are already waiting for the next one.
